WYOMING FIRST!
The job of the Wyoming Legislature is first and foremost, the budgeting and running of the State of Wyoming. We are in a time of ever-increasing budget constraints. Wyoming is very dependent on the energy industry. The coal industry has collapsed. Oil is down. Further, we also depend on our savings and reserves for the investment income. Recently, the stock market has fallen with the coronavirus threat. That means that we are faced with significant challenges in funding State Government. Wyoming legislators must be diligently working on balancing the budget. The time and effort must be made to ensure Wyoming’s future. Ember will work to maintain the necessary balance of funding our essential State government functions in a fiscally conservative manner.
Second Amendment
Ember is a proud supporter of the protections of our rights under the Second Amendment. It is a strong Wyoming value; largely because we recognize that this right may be the single most important right when it comes to individual liberties versus the potential for government control and oppression. History has shown us repeatedly that an authoritarian or controlling government regime can take over. The best defense against that is an armed citizenry. Ember understands this. Wyoming people understand this. We will stand strong against government infringement on this right.
Endorsements
Riverton has had some of the strongest and lengthiest service from both of our Riverton legislators. Eli Bebout and Dave Miller have a combined 48 years of service to our State. Those are big shoes to fill. It is imperative for a strong voice to continue for the people of Riverton, and Fremont County. In order to do that, the people who replace them have to be able to hit the ground running. An important way to accomplish that is to have people who are familiar with the process, as well as the people in leadership and important roles that know and respect the new Fremont County representatives. Ember has received the endorsements of many such people- because they know who she is, respect her conservative values and the service she has done in our community, and in the county attorney’s office for the last decade. Here are some of the Fremont County and State leaders that support her.
